Need to Know

At TPN, we've always helped clients see their events before they happen. Now, with our digital twin approach, we're doing more than visualizing—we’re inviting clients to step inside their event before anyone sets foot on site.

Our journey into digital twinning started with a simple question: How can we take the 3D assets we already create and bring them into an interactive, Web3-ready environment? With decades of experience building CAD drawings, 3D renderings, and immersive environments, the shift to digital twins was a natural evolution. It’s an extension of what we do best—turning ideas into experiences.

Digital twins let us do that in real time. Whether it’s audience seating, stage layout, video content, lighting, or sightlines, our clients can now walk through their event space exactly as their attendees will experience it and change it on the fly before anyone sets foot onsite.

How We Build Digital Twins

The process starts with a virtual representation of any object, person, place, or process—whether it’s real, planned, or just a concept. Most often, we begin with a CAD drawing or floor plan. From there, we create a 3D environment to scale, with as much visual and spatial fidelity as possible. Once the 3D data and objects are ready, we import them into Unreal Engine, where we add final textures and details. Finally, we upload the build to a digital streaming server, where clients can instantly walk through the space, provide feedback, and make changes on the fly.

What This Means for Event Design

The ability to view and plan event designs in real time within a digital twin is something that clients are embracing quickly. It offers a level of immersion that simply wasn’t possible before. From lighting and video playback to seating flow and signage placement, every element is right there to explore, evaluate, and adjust quickly and easily.

This isn’t just about aesthetics. It’s about strategy. Clients can now walk through their event space exactly as their attendees will experience it and make changes long before anything is built—reducing rework, avoiding expensive surprises onsite, and aligning the entire team earlier in the process. It’s also the end of “next year we should…” conversations. With a digital twin, you can explore a variety of options before showtime—when it really makes a difference.

The Future is Interactive

While we still rely on CAD for technical precision and permitting, digital twins are a game changer for design reviews, walkthroughs and iterative planning. They enable creative and strategic decisions to happen faster, and with greater clarity.

At TPN, we see digital twins not just as a tool, but as a true evolution in how events get planned: less guesswork, more insight, and better decisions.  And we are continuing to expand our use of Web3 to build even more visually engaging, immersive experiences.
